New Life for An Old Chest

Years ago I bought a used Bombay chest for $45. It had some mars a and scratches. I touched it up to match the old world decor I had going for so many years. But, after repainting the foyer to Egret white and changing the house decor to a more modern traditional with a bit of farm-house type style, it either had to be repainted or had to go. Loving the blueish-grey color, I chose to do a chalk paint finish with (name of colors and brand) amd lightly distress wih brown wax. I'm very pleased with the results. Cost me only about $10 for 1 (sz) paint, I had the other colors and wax left over from other projects. It only took a couple of hours. Gotta love chalk paint!
