Measure the dry ingredients by weight using a kitchen scale. Pour them into a large ceramic bow. Then with a whisk and fork, break up all the lumps in the mixture.
Measure water and carrier oils, then place into a large glass measuring cup
Choose essentials oils of choice and add to the water and carrier oil mixture. Mix well with fork
While briskly whisking dry ingredients in large ceramic or glass bowl, slowly pour oil and water mixture into the drying ingredients. Pay close attention to the sound. If you hear fizzing, you are pouring the oil and water mixture in too fast and or not stirring fast enough. When all the oil, water mixture has been poured into the dry ingredients, keep stirring until the mixture is clump free. Test the consistency by placing some in the palm of your hand and squeeze. The mixture should stick together when you release your fist.
If you are using dried flowers, buds or petals work the best with this recipe. Sprinkle a few into the bottom of the molds. If using round-sphere Bomb molds, place the dried flowers into just one side. We used lavender and rose buds for our bath treasures.
Spoon the clump free mixture into molds. We used rose Fizzie molds and round bath bomb molds. Both work great. Press contents down very firmly with the heel of your hand. Add a little more mixture to the mold and press with the heel of your hand again. Do this until the mold is full when pressed hard. For the more complex design molds like our rose molds, place the palm of one hand under the mold while pressing down firmly with heel of other hand.
Gently remove the pressed mixture from mold and place on a cover board or large baking sheet.
Dry for at least 8 hours.
